Umbrellas provide a wide angle of light spread and total light coverage, particularly when used in bounce light situations. Umbrellas also serve to diffuse light, in a similar fashion to a softbox, to create a soft glow for a main or fill light. Depending on your needs for a soft light, a highly reflected bounce light, or a soft bounce light, we offer 3 umbrellas in 2 different sizes, based on your needs and space requirements. The umbrellas mount simply, with or without the reflector, for heightened bounce or bare bulb configuration. The umbrellas are additionally fashioned with long poles to easily adjust the distance between the light source and the umbrella. For travel, the umbrellas have a snap to fasten to close when not in use.

The Translucent White Umbrella with a Removable Black Cover (U32TWB – 32 inches, U48TWB – 48 inches) offers shoot-thru diffusion with the black cover removed, and a soft white bounce with the cover in place. The Silver and White Reversible Umbrella (U32SW – 32 inches, U48SW – 48 inches) offers a high contrast silver bounce or a soft white bounce. The Gold and Silver Reversible Umbrella (U32GS – 32 inches, U48GS – 48 inches) offers a bright gold bounce or a high contrast silver bounce. The umbrella material on the Silver/White and Gold/Silver umbrellas can be easily removed from the poles and flipped over to use either bounce surface.

Our umbrellas are available in 32-inch and 48-inch sizes. The measurement of inches refers to the arc length across the top of the umbrella when opened. The U32 32-inch umbrellas measure 32 inches across the top (from tip to tip) and 28 inches in diameter. The U48 48-inch umbrellas measure 48 inches across the top and 37 inches in diameter.
